Produced on residency at Wysing Arts Centre, The Back and Forth (we’re too close to focus) is a short film that uses disjunctive language and metaphor to speak about conflicted feelings towards individuality, autonomy, attachment and detachment in relation to collectively, conformity or “THEY” (who ever they, in this instance are).
